I’m an Author, Artist, Teacher, Storyteller, Musician, Mother, Partner.  I’ve been blessed with a long and productive working life that’s involved amazing experiences and travel, fascinating friends, the love of my life, three wonderful daughters and their families.

 I’ve written over 30 books, 2 films, over 100 TV and radio scripts, performed for 29 years with my husband Dave as the folk duo Brandywine, made 2 recordings and performed for 4 years on the national children’s Saturday morning TV show Storytime for the CTV network. I’ve presented thousands of School visits as a children’s author, given workshops and keynotesat major literary and teachers’ conferences, and now, instead of retiring, I am an artist again - where I started out in my 20s!

In other words… at this point in my life, my educational qualifications, awards and other paper credentials are nothing other than a long boring list ( contact me if you really wish to see all 8 pages of  it) butLIFE is  still amazing.  Though I no longer perform or present in schools, I am still available for Keynote Presentations at conferences, to lead the occasional art workshop, or happy to sell my Art.
